About hometown and family

I was born in Dipolog City where my parents met and got married. Dipolog City is known to be as the "Gateway to Western Mindanao" it is situated in the Northwestern part of the Province of Zamboanga del Norte, Philippines. I am the eldest daughter of my parents and I have four siblings. After my mother gave birth to me, they moved to San Jose town Dumaguete City, a city in the Philippine Province of Negros Oriental. Dumaguete is the largest and the capital city of Negros Oriental. A person from Dumaguete City is called a Dumagueteno and the city is known to be the City of Gentle People. Dumaguete is one of the safest regions in the Philippines.
When I graduated my senior high, I pursued College as a working student with the course of Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. I got married and blessed with two daughters, now ages 12 years old and 7 years old. My children are my greatest inspiration why I worked very hard for me to be able to give them the life they deserve.

Favorite TV programs and It’s contents

I enjoy watching documentary and cooking shows. Documentary programs helped me understand what’s going on around me. What I need to know as an individual.
Watching cooking shows gives me idea and new cooking techniques and discover new recipes that I could try on for I have passion in cooking. For me cooking is not only learning how to cook but discover what are the secrets of cooking, and most of all the techniques for very delicious yet nutritious dishes.

Goals and dreams as an English teacher

I’ve been teaching English for almost 6 years now, and becoming an English teacher is a learning process not only for the student but most of all for me as their teacher. Teaching other nationality is a big challenge not only for their ability but also with their personality. Now, I found myself always learning how to become more efficient to my students. I've learned to love and enjoy this profession. I love this job not only because of the good compensation but sharing my ideas; learning about English to my student is the most important thing. My goals as an English teacher, is to impart my knowledge and skills about English. Most of all, I want to change their perception that learning “English not difficult”.
I want to teach them in a fun and easy way. I should also teach them with passion and patience and give them satisfaction in every lesson.

Comment to Students

My dear students, I encourage you make English as your hobby and learn to love it. I understand for you, “English is difficult language to learn” and studying the language is quiet a tough job. It requires too much time, efforts, and patience in order to acquire proficiency in speaking the language. Typical Japanese is “shy” and I want every student to overcome it and gain confidence in speaking, so don’t be shy to ask questions. Always remember that participation and interaction between student and teacher is an important factor for effective learning. So, let’s learn English in a fun and easy way!

About Japanese and Japan

I've been with a lot of Japanese people, I also have many Japanese friends and I found them very polite, punctual, hardworking, respectful and most of all they love to drink beer. Japanese are very organized when it comes to work, they are very strict with the time because for them, “Time is Money”.
Japanese people are also generous when you are good to them. One thing I admired about Japanese is they eat healthy food and they are very health conscious that's why they don't look with their age and they have a very nice skin. My greatest dream is to visit Japan specially Shibuya. I want to see the statue of Hachiko. The famous dog. Hes story made me cry for he was very loyal to his master.
