About hometown and family

I was born and raised in Iligan City a highly urbanized City in the province of Lanao del Norte, Philippines. Our place is considered as a small island where it’s surrounded by sea waters thus riding a boat and a canoe are ways to reach our home. The people there are religious, friendly and hospitable. In the City proper, you can see its magnificent Maria Christina Falls -- the source of energy in Mindanao, “Cool natural Spring Waters” of Timoga, and its sandy beaches to breathtaking views of Iligan Bay. I’m the second child among the seven children in our family. I have five brothers and one sister. Our family live a very simple life. We own a small pond where we cultured crabs and shrimps as our source of income. Coming from a large group of family was not been easy for me, because there are times that my parents are really struggling to earn something in a day just to meet up all our needs. We’re happy then though sometimes we can’t get what we want but at least we get what we need and I keep reminding myself about what my parents always says that “ no matter how hard life is we should finish our studies “ it’s because that’s the only thing they could give us.

Favorite TV programs and It’s contents

Watching Disney Channel is one of my favourite shows. Yes, these are just animated cartoons but it gives me so much fun and lesson to learn. It’s always part of my hobbies --- playing badminton when I have free time. I also like to travel in some other places and as a matter of fact I’ve been to some parts of Africa and Malaysia.

Goals and dreams as an English teacher

I believe each teacher has their own goals, and for me my goals as a teacher start with – inspire the students, Facilitate Mastery of a Field, Mentor the students, Help students find their voice, articulate and follow their values, lastly help students achieve what their aiming for or why they choose to study the course. Great teachers are made, not born. These are not mysterious talents you have to be granted at birth, but skills that you can learn. Those who make it look easy have probably worked the hardest.

Comments to Student

Corrections are needed but have to do it in a nice way.

About Japanese and Japan

Japan is a super-modern and developed country in the world that is still able to hold onto selected vestiges of its rich cultural heritage. It also knows as “the land of a rising sun “.A land of incredible diversity: modern yet steeped in custom; home of the friendliest of welcomes. A country of blazing neon lights and rugged mountains, coasts and valleys. Tokyo and Osaka are highly cosmopolitan cities that featured cultural elements from all over the globe. The Japanese trains are among the worlds most punctual. Japan has it’s traditional sports that plays a significant part in the fabric of modern day Japanese life. From a young children join to school teams instilling a sense of camaraderie, pride, hard work and dedication. Though modern sports such as baseball, badminton, tennis and football are popular. Japan is perhaps better known for sports with a more ancient, traditional profile.
